Journeys With Rosemary:
Chicago: “Our” Kind of Town ♫
May 17 – 21, 2014

The 15 travelers had a packed itinerary in Chicago!  Sightseeing started with a private city tour guided by fast-talking Matthew.   That afternoon, the fun continued with a performance at the iconic Second City Comedy Club, followed by a delicious meal at Topo Gigio Italian restaurant. 

This city has more than its share of top-notch museums and the group hardly had time to visit all the ones for which they had tickets:  Field Museum, aquarium, planetarium, Art Institute.   The Architecture River Cruise was another highlight and a must-do on a visit to Chicago.

The weather overall was quite nice, but those from California were overwhelmed when greeted by a thunderstorm and torrential rain as they exited the Motown show at 10:15 one night.

Finally, much fun—and great food—was had at the Gala Dinner at Benny’s Chop House.

Realizing just how much there is to do there, several group members would like to return to Chicago in a couple of years.
